The Spark Is Still Alive!

Last night I was pretty well zonked and I decided to go to bed early (around 7 no less). I shuffled across the living room to give Debbie a good night kiss and as I leaned down to give it to her a HUGE Blue Spark lept from my lips to hers with a loud SNAP! She let out a, "YEOW!" and both indoor cats looked at us with wide eyes that said, "WOW!" We tried to kiss again and another smaller spark zapped us. I just smiled and went on to bed fully aware that after 39 years of knowing each other, the Spark is still alive.

The author, Dr. Ophelia Rainey, (my oldest sister) recently received her Ph.D. in Christian Ministry. Born in Montgomery, Alabama, she has made her home in Opelika, Alabama. She feels that most women, and a great many men, love to read a good romance novel, but most Christians do not like to read lewd seductive scenes. She is convinced that a good clean romance fiction with a subtle but strong Christian theme throughout the plot will serve two purposes.

First: It is good entertainment for the Christian reader.
Second: The Christian theme may touch someone in his or her time of need, or possibly minister to someone who might not normally be exposed to a Christian viewpoint.
